Lim Dynasty’s Total Control Causes Crisis In DAP

Dominant Lim Dynasty … PCM leader Huan Cheng Guan said that the Lim father and son were widely perceived by Malaysians to have monopolised all political powers in DAP.

Parti Cinta Malaysia (PCM) vice-president Huan Cheng Guan said the Lim Dynasty would get rid of anyone whom it felt was a threat to its dominance in DAP.

Referring to Lim Kit Siang and his son Guan Eng dominant dynastic rule in DAP, Huan said the DAP, like newbie Pribumi headed by Mahathir Mohamad, was now all about political survival of sons of veteran politicians in the country.

“The struggles and directions of DAP and Pribumi are all about sons.

“DAP has lost its political direction and actual struggle. The party ideology has all gone down to the drain,” said the PCM leader.

Huan, formerly Batu Kawan MP, was commenting on the action of four Malacca elected representatives to quit DAP last Sunday.

Kota Melaka MP Sim Tong Him and, assemblymen Goh Leong San of Duyong, Lim Jak Wong of Bachang and Chin Choon Seong of Kesidang cited loss of confidence with party leadership as among their main reason.

They also cited DAP’s unholy political pact with Mahathir’s Pribumi and obliteration of party principles merely to grab power as other main reasons.

Huan said the four Malacca representatives had implied that the DAP had forgotten its roots, and its leaders were prepared to do anything to enrich themselves and stay in power forever and ever.

“The Lim father and son will get rid of anyone seen as a threat to them.

“Democracy is dead in the Democratic Action Party,” chided Huan.

Teh Yee Cheu has always been outspoken against the dominant Lim Dynasty.

DAP’s Tanjung Bungah state assemblyman Teh Yee Cheu has come out to defend the four Malacca politicians.

The outspoken Teh said their resignations were largely caused by monopoly of power in hands of a few in DAP and dissatisfaction over the party co-operation with Pribumi.

“DAP leaders spend more time strengthening ties with other parties in Pakatan Harapan but failed to do so among own party members,” said Teh, who has been vocal against perceived wrongdoings of DAP state government in Penang.

He indicated that the dissatisfaction against DAP-Pribumi alliance was not an isolated case, but widespread among party leaders, grassroots and supporters as they felt Pribumi was just another Umno splinter group.

Pribumi main leaders are Mahathir, his son Mukhriz and Muhyiddin Yassin, who were all formerly Umno leaders.

Teh fears that DAP-Pribumi tie would mean “Mahathir, Muhyiddin and Mukhriz all over again.”
