"Padan Muka" PCM Leader's Two Words For Guan Eng

Huan was a former Gerakan vice-president, who later founded the BN-friendly PCM following a fallout with former Gerakan president Koh Tsu Koon.

The former Batu Kawan MP has always been critical of DAP, and repeatedly called on the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) to expedite its probe on Lim.

In March, the PCM leader, who is also Honorary Nepal Consul-General to Penang, claimed that documents allegedly related to the land sale involving the chief minister's controversial bungalow were left outside the Nepal Consulate in Prai.

Huan said the nine-page document purportedly linked the bungalow's original owner businesswoman Phang Li Khoon to Lim.

Apart from the land and bungalow sale issues, the PCM leader was also embroiled in the mega RM6.34 billion Penang Tunnel mega-project dispute.

Huan is initiating legal action against the Penang government and Consortium Zenith-BUCG (CZBUZG) for defamation.

He was responding to an announcement by CZBUZG early this month that they were going to sue Huan for defamation for making unsubstantiated accusations and disparaging remarks.

CZBUZG is the special purpose vehicle set up to undertake certain infrastructure projects in Penang.

This morning, Lim was charged under Section 23 of the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Act 2009 for allegedly re-zoning a plot of land from agriculture to commercial use.

He was also charged under Section 165 of the Penal Code for the alleged purchasing of a bungalow unit on Jalan Pinhorn below market value.

Meanwhile, the original house owner was also charged.

Both Lim and Phang have claimed trial and are currently out on bail.
